Noirlands is meant to build a glocal support networks in unprecedented authoritarian times. We are independent of the status quo and are supported by an intentional international community of change-makers.
This is a project born from resilience in the moment, never cowering, always steadfast toward the future we must claim.
This is a tool to teach, with openness, transparency and permanent infrastructure that community can use conceptually in perpetuity. This is in part a newsroom but also a public governance project that understands the needs of the moment amidst global devastation and complex crises. Unfettered, justified, honest, critical and with only our futures to protect.
Our primary goal in this project is to expand the human capacity for self care and self defense in an increasingly hostile and violent environment. Alternative media is the forefront against normalizing the dystopia legacy media consistently attempts to numb us into via the tone deaf inundation of irrelevant or terribly framed stories and reporting.
